Dispatch
Calls come from citizens (phone), from crimes in progress (shots fired, robberies, suspicious activity) and from other officers. Police and EMS don’t generate routine alerts for each other — only officer down and panic.Evidence
Shell casings, projectiles, blood, fingerprints, saliva and GSR can be collected at a scene and processed at the precinct forensics lab (centrifuge, DNA, fingerprint, ballistics, collision). Results attach to MDT cases. Suspects can be mugshotted and their belongings logged.Radio
